Don’t go here. Don’t waste your money. We arrived 20 minutes before the movie started, purchased tickets at the counter from a rude young staff member who didn’t smile once. When we gave our tickets to the staff at the door she was occupied in conversation with another staff member, briefly looked at our tickets and pointed towards cinema 1, didn’t look at us throughout the entire interaction. We entered the very old fashioned cinema and was welcomed with a funky smell and torn seats. Once the movie started an older woman staff member entered the cinema and was staring at everyone sat there, looking at what they were eating and drinking, she came over and told us we couldn’t eat any food purchased outside of the cinema and that she would ‘have to take it away and put it in the bin’ we offered to put it back in our bag which she then responded with ‘I’ll just take the whole bag’. We ended up putting the food back in our car and returned to the screen. The film was good however the overpowering scent of mildew and dust was distracting. The same woman came back halfway through the film to check everyone in there wasn’t consuming food or drink purchased elsewhere. She was very rude the whole time. We hadn’t read anywhere you couldn’t take your own snacks, and I’ve never been to a cinema where you couldn’t. They need to make this much clearer before you purchase tickets. Would never return, all staff we encountered were rude and unhelpful. Not worth the $18 price tag.

Cinema 4 lighting in hall way should be dimmer and the sound system needs to be louder as you can hear the sound from next cinema and people talking in Bogart's you pay good money for the atmosphere to enjoy the big screen. Cinema 1 needs to be refurbished, paying the same price for non reclining seats, musty smell, and dusty, not value for money, overall poor planning of development, not soundproof
